Company History

The official merger of two of Europe's top entities in metal packaging to create Steelforce Group.

SOQ Trading company, led by CEO Davide Padovani, is added as a valued partner to enhance packaging know-how.

The American Metal Packaging Company was acquired in Colombia to serve Latin American markets.
Warehouses were established in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Brazil.
The joint venture reached for the first time a net yearly invoiced tonnage of two hundred thousand tons, consolidating sales from Europe, Latam, and Africa.

Decision to restructure the joined businesses into a specialized metal-packaging group. The new entity was named Steelforce Packaging, and it would involve all the metal-packaging units.

Steelforce Packaging invested in a new service center in Barranquilla (Colombia) to reduce lead time and increase quality control of lacquered and printed products in the Latin American region.

Opened our North American sales office strategically located in Pittsburgh, PA, a city renowned for its historical ties to the steel industry. This allowed us to establish strategic partnerships across Canada, US and Mexico.

Became the world's largest seller of steel and aluminum for metal packaging for production – More than 300,000 tons.

Increased production capacity at our Barranquilla plant by implementing a 2nd lacquer line. Opened commercial sales office and 2 customer warehouses in Brazil.
